Lincoln Center presents Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the David Rubenstein Atrium. The screening is a collaboration with Shaolin Jazz and uses a live musical soundtrack.
The venue describes the program as a meeting of horror film and hip-hop within its Beats, Rhymes & Sights series. The listing marks the event for ages 17 and older, an important distinction from the all-ages programs that often take place in the Atrium.
This is an event preview, not a review of the film or the live score. Prospective attendees should check the current Lincoln Center page for admission and access details; no audience response or performance outcome is reported before the event occurs.
