Netflix lists Emily, Gladiator and Gladiator II as catalog additions for October 21. The grouping places the original Roman epic and its sequel on the service together while adding a separate imagined drama about Emily Brontë.
Emily stars Emma Mackey in a fictionalized account of the relationships and experiences that shaped the writer of Wuthering Heights. Gladiator follows Russell Crowe’s Maximus, while Gladiator II moves the struggle for survival and political change to a later generation.
These are streaming-catalog arrivals, not new theatrical premieres. Availability may differ by market and subscription, so viewers should check their local Netflix service before making plans.
