The 62nd Chicago International Film Festival reaches its closing night today with a 5 p.m. screening of Behemoth! at the Music Box Theatre. The festival’s official schedule places the event on the final day of its October 14–25 edition.
Pedro Pascal stars as cellist Alex Serian, who returns to Los Angeles after two decades on the road. Olivia Wilde, Eva Victor and Will Arnett are also listed in the cast, and the film uses the work of nine composers in a story centered on music and memory.
Composers Michael Abels and Lukas Frank are scheduled to attend. That appearance remains subject to the event’s current plans; this advance brief does not review the film or report remarks before the screening takes place.
