Channel 4 and The Walt Disney Company announced today that a Channel 4 service will launch inside Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland in early 2027. The companies say it will include Channel 4’s live HD channel and hundreds of hours of on-demand programming.
The plan also places selected new programs on Disney+ at the same time they appear through Channel 4. Announced examples include the drama Maya, the comedy Stepping Up and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
Channel 4 will have a branded section within the Disney+ interface, with access included in existing subscriptions. The announcement does not give an exact launch date or complete catalog; both are due to be confirmed later.
